If you’ve not bought your tickets yet for The Content Marketing Academy Conference and Masterclass in Edinburgh next month, time’s running out!

Here’s 4 reasons why I think you should consider attending The Content Marketing Academy:

1. The Learning

The learning opportunity over the two days (if you attend both events) is going to be unrivalled and will put your business way ahead of the competition.

Not only is Marcus Sheridan going to be a Keynote speaker (the first time ever he’s been to the UK), but you will hear from 5 other amazing speakers, from published authors to podcast show hosts.

If you’ve not heard of Marcus before, you can find out more about him here.

2. The Networking

With 200 places at the conference and a further 60 exclusive places at the Masterclass with Marcus, there will be ample opportunity to network with fellow business owners and forward-thinking marketers. The opportunities that can come from this could be far-reaching for your business!

3. The Social side

Not only will there be great learning opportunities over the two days, but there are also ample opportunities to socialise with colleagues and new-found friends over the odd lemonade ?

There is to be an Official Meetup on the Thursday evening and an After-Show party on the Friday.

4. To Support Chris Marr

You may think this is a bit of a strange one to list but I think we also need to attend this event to support Chris.

If you’ve not heard of Chris Marr before (I know a lot of you do know him) he is the brains behind the whole event and a business visionary.

So why should you support Chris? Well, firstly because most events like this tend to take place in England (often in London), so it’s brilliant to have an opportunity like this virtually on our door-step.

Secondly, I’ve heard a lot of horror stories from other businesses who have tried to bring in big-name speakers and host events such as this, and ended up not selling enough tickets to cover their costs. In short, they’ve hosted amazing events that’s benefited the business community but lost a ton of money in the process. At the end of the day, we are all trying to run a business and it’s not fair that the event organiser is often the person benefiting the least from the experience.

It is for these two reasons that I feel it is almost our duty, as a Scottish business owner, to support Chris and this event.

I’ve bought my tickets to both the Masterclass with Marcus and the Conference (and the Official Meetup) and can’t wait for September.

What about you? If you come along to the event, you will also get to meet Mandy, the other half of Chat Marketing.

See you there!

Alan.
