A unique opportunity to work with Marcus Sheridan in the UK
A special workshop for business owners and leaders — from highly sought after keynote speaker, communication coach, and digital media consultant Marcus Sheridan.
“Life-altering”, “Light-Bulb Moment”, “Career-Defining”—just a few of the words used to describe the impact Marcus Sheridan’s communication workshops are having on individuals and businesses around the globe.
Called a “Web-marketing guru” by the New York Times, Marcus Sheridan is a business owner, professional speaker, and author of multiple books. Known for his powerfully engaging and interactive speaking style, Sheridan is now offering hands-on workshops specifically designed for business owners and leaders.
As many of us are well aware, public speaking—in its many forms—is one of the biggest fears in the world, and the workplace is no exception to this reality.
Furthermore, studies have shown that the most important skill that impacts one’s ability to have financial and social success in the workplace is that of communication.
Unfortunately, “world-class communication” isn’t a skill taught in schools and universities.
Nor is it generally taught at a high-level in offices of businesses and organizations around the globe.
Because of this, many potentially great communicators lack confidence when giving a sales presentation, pitch, or other type of team meeting.
Frankly, this gap is not only costing companies millions in lost revenue but it also hinders workplace culture and morale.
It is for this reason Marcus Sheridan has been giving workshops around the globe on this subject, with the goal to transform the way companies and employees communicate—internally and externally—ultimately creating a culture of not only great communicators, but a happier, more productive workforce in the process.
Roger Edwards, Marketing Consultant and Speaker “Marcus is one of the most powerful, engaging speakers I’ve ever seen. At the same time, he’s a humble, family man without a trace of ego. A true professional.”

Reasons why you may want to attend WCC
Instead of giving a long pitch about why you should attend WCC with Marcus Sheridan, I have listed below the reasons why others have attended WCC.
I literally sat in the back of the workshop and wrote down the exact reasons why people attended WCC and the areas they wanted to improve on. Perhaps you can relate to a few of these challenges:
Cramming too much into my speaking content
Losing track of the narrative when speaking and getting confused
Talking too fast when communicating
Not feeling confident about speaking in front of group of people
Waffling and not planning out the content for speaking
Struggling to effectively engage with the audience
Thinking I’m already really good at speaking, but wanting to step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself
I want to understand my audience better
Feeling like I’ve become complacent with my presentation style and feeling the need to freshen up
Feeling underprepared when it comes to speaking
You want to be a really really great speaker and communicator
I’m very nervous in front of people and I want to overcome this
I go into to much detail
I care far too much about what people think about me, which impacts how I engage with my audience and listen to them
I feel like an introvert. I hate standing up in front of people or being the centre of attention
I’m embarrassed about other people looking at me
I don’t like public speaking and I want to solve this
I don’t enjoy being out there, but I know that INEED to be out there in order to be more successful at what I do
I’d like to create a deeper connection with my audience and improve how I engage
I feel like I ‘tell’ rather than ‘listen’ or ‘ask’
I feel like I can improve the kinds of words I use when I speak in public
I can be tempted to take the ‘safe option’ when I’m asked to speak and fall into bad habits – I know I can be better
I’m guilty of over preparing for presentations and taking notes verbatim. I want to be able to present without notes or slides
My tone of voice is monotone, boring, and not inspirational
What areas would you like to improve on?
If you read through this list, and you felt that there are areas for improvement that resonate wth you, then there’s a very good chance that WCC is for you.
What’s it really like at WCC?
In this episode of The Balance you will get a good feel for what WCC is all about. This was filmed at WCC in November 2016.
It’s a 12 minute video, with two very powerful stories about how to be a world class communicator.
Laura Lucas, Owner at Inspirential “What I got from the workshop went way beyond speaking or business. Watching Marcus’s commitment to being completely present in service to his audience and choosing to ‘yes… and’ every moment of his life has inspired me to make a wholehearted commitment to do the same. For me that means choosing to show up as my best self and do everything in my power to make each moment the best it can possibly be regardless of what happened in the previous moment and letting go of the outcome in full faith that I can be who my audience (and clients, family, and friends) need me to be.”

Booking Information and Costs
Typically there will be more than three months notice of the date and location of a WCC event.
The cost of the WCC event will be somewhere between £500 and £2000 +VAT per person, depending on how many days you decide to register for.
For example, if you have already attended World Class Communication: The Principles, which is the first day, then you will likely want to attend the second and more intensive day, which is called World Class Communication: The Principles. This may cost between £800 and £1000+VAT per person.
You have to have attended the first day in order to register for the additional WCC workshops.
However, if you have never attended WCC and you want to go ‘all in’ and register for two days, then this could cost you between £1300 and £1500 +VAT.
We normally offer three month payment plans to help with your cash flow.
I hope this gives you a good indication of the pricing. If you have any questions please email Chris at email@example.com.

Steve Cowan, Director at Upstream IT “I’ve never encountered anyone like Marcus. When his gaze falls on you it’s like a tractor beam, drawing you in. You can’t look away. His passion for teaching the art of communication is plain to see and he is clearly knowledgable. Of course most speakers are knowledgeable in their chosen subject but you get the feeling Marcus eats, breathes and sleeps his. I’ve heard a few speakers in my time but I would put Marcus in pole position. His engaging style and energy cannot fail to impress and I look forward to further conferences and classes in the future.”
