Improving team productivity – Converting chaos into control with allthings

Do you find it challenging to keep track of all the countless tasks that you have to get done? What does your to-do list look like? How many lists have you got? Are you running many different projects all with separate lists of tasks that involve many different people?

From our own experience we know that there are many ways to maintain a to-do list and project tasks, and most of them are extremely ineffective. We squirm a little when we find busy business owners using pen and paper and spreadsheets to manage their projects and tasks.

You’ll be pleased to know that there is a solution that will make your life abundantly better, increase your productivity and improve communication between your colleagues and team members.

Convert chaos into control

Some people are much better than others at managing their tasks, projects and time, but no matter how organised you are, allthings is something that you should seriously consider as a solution for your business.

allthings is a project management tool that allows you to plan and organise your business through creating lists, assigning and sharing tasks and setting deadlines. Through creating capacity and tracking effort allthings is a great way to keep track of how you and your employees are working and how productive they are.

“For me personally, allthings is a complete revelation and I absolutely love it. As someone who is very organised, allthings has enhanced my productivity tenfold. Every morning I check what my tasks are for the day, what stage I am at with each task and project, what tasks I can check off the list and what I need to discuss with my manager. Also, our discussions are also facilitated through allthings (no emails!!)” – Melissa Coombs

How we use allthings

We use allthings mainly for content scheduling and it plays a central role in our communication, given that the team work remotely. allthings is vital for us to keep on top of the weekly tasks and allows us to facilitate assigning new tasks to a team member, having discussions around a particular task, asking each other questions, and sharing web links, videos and documents that we think might be useful. It is also good for keeping track of how many hours of work you have done and how many more you have for that week/project/task.

One of the other big benefits for us is the elimination of emails – there’s really no reason for us to send emails to each other anymore! I’m not sure how you feel about emails, but we’re not huge fans.

allthings is completely central to our project management and without allthings we would certainly be wrestling with chaos.
