If I were to create a series of videos for you that was aimed at the leadership in your organisation, and you wanted me to say something on your behalf in order for you to have more impact and do more work with purpose, what do we need to be talking about to make that happen?

If I was to do a series of videos that were aimed directly at the leadership within your organization or whoever looks after the marketing department and you wanted me to say something on your behalf that would allow you to, as a marketer allow you to have more impact on the organization and ultimately to do more work with purpose. What do they need to hear in order to allow you to do that?

One of the things that we love to do here at the Content Marketing Academy is work with in-house marketing teams and leaders. The reason that we love working with in-house marketing teams the most is that the work that we do will help them to have more impact on the organization and to do more work that has a purpose.

One of the things that we’ve decided to do this year is to create a series of videos that help leaders and in-house marketers to have a conversation about the frustrations and the challenges that are happening in the marketing department. So, one of the things I’d love for you to do today is to answer these three questions. Jump into the comments section let me know what’s on your mind and if you don’t want to answer these questions publicly just incase you don’t want your boss to see your answers, you can email me: Chris@cmauk.co.uk with your answers or with anything that you want to share with me.

So here are the questions.

Question one: looking back over the last12 months what has been the biggest challenge that you have managed to overcome and how did you overcome it?

The second question: Looking forward to 2019 and beyond what do you feel is going to be your biggest challenges as an in-house marketer as you develop and grow you? You can include more than one if you like.

The third and final question is: If I was to do a series of videos that were aimed directly at the leadership within your organization or whoever looks after the marketing department and you wanted me to say something on your behalf that would allow you to be a better marketer, that allows you to have more impact on the organization, to ultimately to do more work with purpose – what do they need to hear in order to allow you to do that?

So that’s the questions for you today. I’ve been speaking to marketers face-to-face with these questions – and I love the responses. They are so insightful but they give us the challenges that we need. They give us the purpose that we need. They give us the focus that we need to make marketing departments and organizations better places to work. Allow you to have more impact and ultimately have more purpose.
