You probably attend a lot of industry conferences and seminars and you’ll be wondering why The Content Marketing Academy should be the conference that you spend your hard earned cash on.
We asked those that have already registered why they bought a ticket for TCMA, and this is what they said:
"As a huge fan of Marcus Sheridan I can’t imagine not attending TCMA 2015. Having spoken at the conference in 2014 I can definitely say that you can learn so much from surrounding yourself with like minded people, and learning from the best in the industry.
To have the chance to spend 2 days with people who can really help you blaze a trail in your industry is an amazing opportunity that no-one should miss out on.
It is so important to continually invest in yourself and your business, and the TCMA 2015 is your chance to do that.
I can’t wait!"
"I am a portrait photographer and I work in a highly competitive industry. I want and need to differentiate myself by consistently creating useful and engaging content.
I attended TCMA in 2014 and it had a huge impact on myself and my business. Not just because of the quality of information I took away with me but also because of the inspiring people I met there who continue to influence me and help me grow every day.
I couldn’t have missed this year’s event, especially since it looks like it will be even bigger and better than last year!
I can’t believe I am going to be in a workshop with Marcus Sheridan. I know it is going to be a life-changing couple of days. I wish I could MAKE everyone I know go to this.
If only they knew what they were missing out on!"
“I am a solicitor with a small, rural law practice which has offices in Elgin and Forres, Moray.
I am concerned by the apparent decline in the number of High Street solicitors in Scotland, which I don't think is in the public interest (yes, I know, I would say that).
In trying to find a way to ensure, as far as possible, that my business will still be here in another 5 or 10 years' time, I have found the teaching of Marcus Sheridan (and others) about content/inbound marketing to be very helpful and inspiring.
It is certainly not a quick-fix or get-rich-quick way of doing things but the evidence is that it yields results. You just have to look at Marcus Sheridan's own story.
Chris Marr is doing a great job for Scotland in teaching the principles of content marketing.
Trying to be the best teacher in the world - or even just in your home area - at your particular subject is liberating because you need to have an abundance mentality and concentrate on helping before selling. These things can seem counter-intuitive, which is why it is helpful to meet up with other like-minded people and get the chance to be taught and motivated by one of the world leaders in this subject.
Whatever line of business you are in, attending TCMA will help you understand why content marketing is a crucial tool in sustaining and growing your business. It's also an affordable tool, where DIY is encouraged, even necessary.
I expect that, by the end, I will be bursting with enthusiasm and full of ideas I can’t wait to put into practice.”
I work as a consultant and I help gift shop and artisan food shop owners to create stylish, signature ranges which increase their profit and grow their turnover.
I’m fairly new to content marketing and I want to learn more about the concept and how best to use it to grow my business by connecting with and helping my ideal clients.
I’m really looking forward to hearing Marcus Sheridan speak as he is a leader in this field and I’m looking forward to learning more and being able to ask questions in the workshop groups.
I believe that people should attend because this is the only content marketing conference in Scotland, and there are great speakers coming to share their knowledge and experiences of using content marketing to grow their businesses.
I work in the IT industry, I'm responsible for marketing and strategy at a company which supports SMEs with their technology requirements. I also help friends on a consultancy basis to help them grow their businesses using digital marketing.
After listening to Chris' podcast and subsequently joining the community he is building I cant wait to see the content on the day and as a Marcus Sheridan fan, the chance to see him in the UK is worth the flight up to Scotland.
From attending TCMA 2015 I hope to learn how I can grow our business and in turn how I can pass that knowledge on to others to grow theirs. Not only learning from the speakers but the attendees too as the community has proved there's fantastic ideas from all industries.
Content is only going to be more and more important in marketing, so this is a perfect opportunity to be ahead of the curve and learn from some of the best people not only in the UK, but the World.
"I'm the Co-Founder of the software company Allthings, being focused on Productivity and Content Marketing within our own business, TCMA was an obvious choice for us to get involved with.
Chris and the team at TCMA did an awesome job last year, and 2015 is absolutely shaping up to crush that.
This year, with the option of the Marcus Sheridan masterclass, it¹s going to be a 2 day event, with the chance not only to learn from the speakers but actually get some decent time to network with other business owners and marketers to find out what's working for them.
Anyone who has not heard of Marcus Sheridan, needs to check him out - this guy has an awesome story to tell and to get to spend a couple of days learning from him is going to be invaluable. In the incredibly busy space of software development and productivity, its imperative that we stand out from the crowd and are ahead of the game when it comes to producing our own awesome content.
How often does an event of this calibre happen right on our doorsteps in Edinburgh, especially with such a high standard of keynote speakers. I've even re-scheduled my holiday to make sure we're at this event!"
